We are seeking a General Manager at our Wexford location.
Responsible for overseeing all of the restaurant’s operations such as: hiring and firing of staff; other related human resources duties; managing all daily operations; supervising employees; negotiating contracts with vendors/suppliers; purchasing of food, supplies, and necessary equipment; providing customer service and resolving customer complaints; ensuring desired outcomes of business (sales, profit, employee retention); ensure company standards are maintained, and formulate policies when necessary. Able to fill in, in various capacities in the restaurant if needed, due to employee absences, including helping cook and serve food.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management, or similar. 1 year of experience as a General Manager or other managerial role. 12+ months of experience working in and handling high volume and stressful situations. Experience handling and properly responding to a crisis and directing staff accordingly. Experience with a variety of restaurant or food service roles including cooking and serving food. Experience handling customer service issues and resolving complaints.
